Day 1 - 18 nov 2009
had a long flight to Davao, long cos didn't have much to do on the plane:) we only took photos of each other the whole time:P haha! and most of the time, cos it was quite early, we were sleeping the whole way there:) after reaching, we were welcomed with a cultural performance by a cultural group, they were very good performers:D went for lunch after that short performance at a restaurant. buffet lunch, haha. the food was great and there's no vegetables! I'm a "veggie" person!:P haha. so lunch was good and it was still nothing compared to who we met after that:D the city's vice mayor:) that was the best experience:D we were featured on the newspaper as we took a photo as a group with her along with the other leaders of Davao:) then, we went to check into where we were to stay after that visit, Marco Polo Hotel, Davao. it was so beautiful. haha! after checking in and puttng our stuff into our rooms, we had dinner and a learning and sharing session. then we had a short session with the teachers. went back to our rooms after that to bathe and do reflections. went to bed after that:)
