Touched down yesterday:) Had a great time in Chiangmai and Bangkok the past 9 days! Already missing the time we had there!

The girls' team was quite new to one another and had little practice time as a team. But by God's grace, we were able to work together during the competition. Results aren't as important as process this trip but as we tried our best, the Lord brought victory to us in our second game. Despite losing 2 games, the girls were supportive and encouraging to one another. We didn't look down on our teammates and showed sportsmanship.

Also, there is one person I truly thank God for. Maxine. Without her, this trip wouldn't have been possible for the girls. We only had 8 SP players without Maxine. Thank God also for how she was able to bond with us throughout this trip and how God brought all the girls closer to each other. Thank God for the great eye-opener and wonderful experience. Most importantly, for opening the door for me to go for this 9-day trip. Thank God also for watching over us as we played our matches and for granting us strength and unity.

The guys, I believe, had the greatest experience. They tasted the joy of their hard work and teamwork during this trip. They did really well and supported each other throughout the trip! Thank God for the four Road Runners who joined the us on this trip too! They helped the guys a lot and were really supportive too. Thank God for Ben, Jun Yu, Dominic and Josiah.

Of course, thank God for our two coaches! It was fun talking to them out of the matches and getting to know both of them better. If not for this trip, I'd still think they are both fierce and scary.

Really amazing trip to Chiangmai for this tournament and just want to give all praise and lift up all the glory to our heavenly Father! Indeed, 'The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning.' What an awesome way to end 2012 with a smash and start off the new year in 2013!
