Exams are over for this semester! Hopefully I'll be able to get a 'B' grade at least. Haha. Especially for POM. It was terrible, I didn't do a part within one of the questions cause I totally forgot the points. But thank God it's not those 10 mark questions.

Thank God for the manageable paper today and that I was able to meet up with LeeYin. Learnt more about quiet time and got to know her background a little more. Thank God!

Learnt to put into words what quiet time is today. Simply put, quiet time is usually preferred to be done in the mornings. The basis of quiet time = 3 'T's. Time. Two-way relationship. And most importantly, TRUST. We must learn to trust before we are willing to take out time to improve the relationship and make it a two-way thing, not just question and answer. Starting with a guidance prayer, followed by some time to read God's word and then responding to God's word in a closing prayer.

"Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete." - John 16:24.

After our last John studies session, this is one of the 3 verses that had an impression on me. We discussed about this verse during that session. To ask in Jesus' name according to God's will for us. That's a summary of roughly what we came up with.

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." - Proverbs 3:5-6.

Trust God and depend on him and his understanding, not our own. Whatever we do, seek and acknowledge him. He will then guide us through both good and tough times.
