Jeju Island (Korea Day 1)

On the plane to Jeju~

Our very first meal! Traditional Korean food^^

Time for some sightseeing!
The 'Dragon Head Rock'.
Selfies with my family!^^

Kimchi time!

Kim and Kimchi School. Supposedly to learn how to make Kimchi. But we learnt that there are countless types of kimchi dishes, all depending on the type of main ingredient each individual prefers. Of course the most common is the cabbage one that we all may have tried. We learnt to "apply/massage" the kimchi sauce into the cabbage, however, these bundles of kimchi is not for us to bring home, they were prepared for an old folks home in Jeju. Thank God that even in the midst of a tour, there was a chance to do good to the people in Jeju.

Still at Kimchi School, but they have an area for Korean Traditional Costume and a photo taking area. Really great to be dressed up in the Traditional attire in Korea and take photos with my family.

Lesson learnt from the tour guide, Kitty, that when taking a family photo, like the one above, the husband sits on the right of the wife and the eldest child of the family sits on the side of the father followed by the next child, to the youngest. (Of course that's just for a 5 member family).

The famous Banana Milk! This is the best tasting one!

Craving satisfied! This was bought at a really awesome place! It's like a hill area whereby there is this portion of the hill that is kind of sloping upwards (gentle slope) but when a vehicle offs its engine at that stretch of the slope, it is being pushed forward (up the slope) on its own. It is said to be like a downhill slope's force pushing the vehicle upwards. I don't really know how to explain it, but it's so cool!!! Hahaha! It's rightfully called 'Korea's Paradise' but also known as 'Jeju's Mysterious Road'!

Ice Sculpture Museum!!
If you can't see, that's supposed to be batman. Haha!

Alive Museum!

Dinner time!! Hot pot^^ So good in the cold weather!

Then back to hotel! End of Day 1!
